September 21st and 22nd the Annual American Gold Cup was in full swing. This is one of the nations premier showjumping competitions with top money prizes on the line. Ainjel Giannamore and Rockin' Horses Timber were back for a second straight year on full sponsorship to compete against the nations best amateur horse/rider combinations. Ainjel and Timber put in 3 quality rides on the weekend to win a second place ribbon and prize money as well as two other top ribbons against a very tough field of competitors. Ainjel was also featured in a major Cleveland newspaper covering the event!. Awesome job Ainjel!! We know things did not turn out as you had hoped but you did not give any excuses just congratulations to the winner, knowing things may be different next time ;-) And thats a big part of being a Champion. We couldn't be more proud of you! |

Rockin' Horse sent Kim, Brit, Molly and Becca to this years event and the girls put in a quality effort. Saturday features the individual sweepstakes classes and up against a field of 39 Horses Molly and Chancellor came up with a terrific 2nd place finish. Not far behind was Brittni and Chloe with the 4th place award. The 2nd round saw a reversal as Brittni picked it up a step finishing with the 2nd place award and Molly stays in the top ribbons at 4th place. The Team Competition took place on Sunday and with a large field of teams and little room for error the girls managed 5 clean rounds of the 8.
